Education

Bangkok has well over a hundred international schools, and the spread of curricula, fees and locations makes the first shortlist the hardest part. Our two guides cover the questions to ask and where to find fuller comparison data.

Checking a school's status

Every international school in Thailand must hold a licence from the Office of the Private Education Commission. Ask the school for its licence details and for the name of any foreign body that accredits it, such as WASC, NEASC, the Council of International Schools or a British Schools Overseas inspectorate. Membership of the International Schools Association of Thailand is listed on the association's own website.

We have not published listings in this section yet. They will be added once each one has been checked. Until then, the guides and checks on this page apply to any provider you consider.
